Solving some common printing problems:

1. I click the Print Button, but nothing happens – disable the Pop-up Blockers in
your browser (see detailed instructions at https://www.eayso.org/eAYSOPopUpBlocker.aspx).

2. I am using a MAC/APPLE Computer. I click the Print Button and the form loads on the screen but it is BLANK. The application has none of my child’s information on it; it just prints an empty form with a bunch of boxes. This could happen for either a Player or Volunteer Application.

- a. First, you need to download and install the latest version of Adobe Reader:
- b. Go to http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
- c. Then, Click here to see step by step instructions on how to print the form using Adobe Reader.

3. I click the Print Button, and the form prints, but the left side of the form
is cut off (including the first 2 or 3 characters of each word on the left side
of the form) – the printer option “Fit to Page” needs to be selected from the Printer
Options screen that pops up after the Print Button is pressed.

4. I click the Print Button, and the form prints, but the font on the form is clearly
not English; it looks like random characters – you need to download and install
the latest version of Adobe Reader:

- a. Go to http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
- b. Click on Download – Adobe Reader.
- c. Choose the version of Adobe Reader that is correct for your computer and download
it.
- d. Install the Adobe Reader software and choose to make it your default program
for reading PDF files.
- e. Trying printing the form one more time (you might need to close the browser and
re-open it).

5. I am using a Mac, and only the first page of the three pages prints when I click
the Print Button – try Exporting to a PDF and then printing the PDF as follows:

- a. Click on Export to the selected format.
- b. Select Acrobat (PDF) file.
- c. Click Export
- d. Open the exported file (if it does not open automatically), and then print using
Adobe Reader.
- e. If any of the issues noted above in Problems #2, 3 or 4, occur, you need to download
and install the latest version of Adobe Reader, per the instructions above and then
try to print the exported file again.
